The hall of fame bubble gum
Natural and Artificial Flavours
Sitting in a bullpen in 1977, Portland Maverick lefty Rob Nelson came up with a fun new idea: shredded bubble gum in a stay-fresh pouch. He named it Big League Chew.
With help from Mav teammate Jim Bouton, Rob's gum hit the retail shelves in 1980, and has sold more than 900 million pouches over the last 40 years. It is the "Hall of Fame Bubble Gum," according to the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum in Cooperstown, NY.
Big League Chew is proudly made in the USA by Ford Gum, near Buffalo, NY. It's now much more than "the ballplayers' bubble gum." Big League Chew is bubble gum fun for everyone!
