Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 contains 600mg of DL-ALA, a highly stable form of alpha lipoic acid with a balanced 50/50 racemic mixture of RLA, known as R(+) lipoic acid, and SLA, known as S(-) lipoic acid. The SLA molecule stabilizes the RLA molecule, making DL-ALA shelf stable and more resistant to polymerization by stomach acid compared to the isolated RLA form of alpha lipoic acid. The efficacy of DL-ALA is supported by substantial research.
